APG Juried Photography Show

General Guidelines for Framed Artwork
All photographs selected for this exhibition must be delivered to Albuquerque Photographers' Gallery between 11:00am-5:00pm starting January 28th thru January 30 2012.
All artwork must be in ready to hang condition when delivered. Photographs must have a wire of appropriate composition and weight attached by a set of "D" rings or eye screws. Saw tooth or single point hangers are not acceptable. The Gallery reserves the right not to display pieces if they are not up to the Gallery standards, or if there is difficulty in displaying the work. Maximum overall dimensions are 22" x 28" (outside dimension of frame). Maximum overall dimensions for square frames is 24"x24".
Framing for this particular show will be left up to the Photographers discretion, as to the best presentation of their work. Frames must be of wood or metal composition of any color, along with your choice of matte color. Absolutely no plastic frames will be allowed.
All works must be available for sale, with the Albuquerque Photographers' Gallery receiving a 20% commission. Payment will be mailed to the Artist within 30 days of closing of the show.
All unsold artwork must be picked up from the Gallery between the hours of 12:00-5:00pm, between March 1-3, 2012 unless prior arrangement are made with the Gallery. Artwork left after March 5th 2012 will be considered abandoned.

Jurists and judging criteria for "In the Mind's Eye"
Leroy Perea
A native of Albuquerque New Mexico, LeRoy Perea has been a professional Photographer for the past 37 years. He has been involved with nearly all aspects of Photography including Fine Art, Portrait, Scientific and Commercial Photography. Mr. Perea has judged events at Expo NM and is the founder of ANMPAS. Albuquerque Photographers' Gallery is proud to have Leroy Perea as one of their judges in their first juried show.
Urey Lemen
Urey was born in Florida but has lived in New Mexico since 1962 so he considers himself to be almost a native. An avid outdoorsman, Urey has always loved the beauty of the natural world and attempts to capture those magical landscapes on “film”. He was one of the original members of the Albuquerque Photographers Gallery when it opened in 2003. His photography has won numerous awards in photography contests around the state of New Mexico.
Kent Winchester
Kent Winchester specializes in black and white photography, recently winning a special award for his B&W work at the Hubbard Museum of the American West. He shoots both digital and film, lectures on composition, and writes about photography. Kent is a member of APG.
Judging Criteria
Images will be evaluated independently by the judges, and scored based on three criteria: Impact, Creativity, and Technique.
