My name is Tom Spross and I love to travel the southwest US, the West Coast, and the Rocky Mountain region of this great country. I strive to capture special times, places, and feelings in my images.
This world presents endless possibilities to stimulate and reward those who appreciate both natural and man-made beauty. The click of a camera shutter is just one part of a process. Machines have no bias, and no sense of composition. The photographer must impose his sense of wonder and art even before that 'click'. And certainly after. I feel fortunate to be able to explore the expanding creative possibilities that digital photography presents. And now I am very excited about two print media that further enhance the creative presentation - canvas and infused aluminum.
My work has been featured in Alibi, Local IQ, Abq Arts, New Mexico Magazine, Albuquerque Journal, and Albuquerque THE Magazine. My work is displayed at The Albuquerque Photographers' Gallery in Old Town, Right Brain Gallery on Menaul, and at the Rust Presbyterian Hospital in Rio Rancho.
