"In The Mind’s Eye" Reception
The opening reception for our first juried show, “In The Mind’s Eye”, was a great success. The turnout was fantastic and everyone enjoyed seeing all 30 chosen images, framed and on display in the APG gallery.
The Judges awarded prizes to their top three picks and attendees voted for a People’s Choice award. John Gilbert won First Place for “End of Days”, Marilyn Maxwell won Second Place for “Conversation”, and Jean Wibbens won Third Place for “Piano Girl”. Then David Wiley’s “Mountains to Climb” was chosen for the People’s Choice Award. The awards have been presented, refreshments were consumed, dishes were washed and put away, but there is still time to see the show. “In The Mind’s Eye” will remain on display through February 29th. Don’t miss it! ************************************************************************** We would like to thank our sponsors, 10000 Cranes Studio and Mike Osborne Framing, who generously donated prizes. And a special thanks to our esteemed head juror and master of ceremonies, LeRoy Perea. |
