May Show -  “Icons of the West”

We have a last minute change to our schedule this month. The guest artist show has been canceled, but will be replaced by our own member group show, "Icons of the West" with a variety of horse, bison and Native American photos. We will have a reception on Friday, May 4th, 5-8 PM.
Everyone is welcome to stop by and hear the stories behind these remarkable images.

Albuquerque Little Theater features member photographs

Members of APG will be showing their work at the Albuquerque Little Theater during the months of May and June. ALT was founded in 1930 by a group of civic-minded citizens led by Irene Fisher, a reporter and the society editor for the New Mexico Tribune. In 1936, ALT moved into its present home located at 224 San Pasquale SW, just south of the historic Old Town section of Albuquerque.  The original building, designed by famed southwestern architect, John Gaw Meem, was the first structure in Albuquerque to be built by the Works Progress Administration as part of President Franklin Roosevelt’s “New Deal.”
This is a great opportunity to enjoy live theater as well as fine art photography in one historic space together. Visit ALT's website for more information on their entertainment schedules and ticketing.

Special limited edition collection

Picture

We have a VERY limited number of  framed and matted prints by the late artist Karl Koenig. These are hand-colored, photogravures which are popular with collectors of his work. When these are gone, there will be no more.
