Jory Vander Galien
Jory grew up in the Midwest dreaming of places he could only see on TV, in encyclopedias and in National Geographic magazines. He knew one day he was going to be a landscape photographer and photograph some of the places that had been seared into his mind and everything in between. In 2012 he completed a Bachelor of Arts in Fine Art Photography in pursuit of fine tuning his landscape photography skill and learning to talk about and defend his work and making his photography more than a hobby. By pursuing photography, he believes he is fulfilling the gift and hunger that God has placed in his heart to showcase His creation. Today, living in NM with his wife, son, daughter and a dog but no white picket fence, he intentionally chooses to search the quiet beauty and dramatic forces within the natural and unnatural landscape.
